Map Pack 2 Release Time

Map Pack 2 is officially released today, bringing three new multiplayer maps and a brand new zombie map to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Along with the new Corrosion, Sub Pen and Banzai maps, players will have an all-new zombie mode to try out called Shi No Numa. It translates as ‘Zombie swamp’ and as you can imagine, takes place in an outdoor setting for the first time. Changes include all new weapons such as the type100, Wunderwaffe-d2, Perk machines (which are now random), Traps and flaming hell hounds.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to have a jungle map with waterfalls and hidden caves, then you need to check out Banzai map. Your aim is to battle for control of the river bridge. Corrosion is yet another cool map; there you will face your enemy in a train yard. The other map in this new map pack is Sub Pens, while caught in a monsoon; you will have to battle to try to take over a bombed-out submarine base.

The new map in Zombie mode is Shi No Numa” (Zombie Swamp), and features Perk machines, one such machine is the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Well you had better get downloading, what perfect timing for the weekend.

Shi No Numa (Zombie Swamp) is just like the regular zombie maps except 4 new things:

1. The Wunderwaffe DG-2-which is a Stg44 combined with a raygun, that has vapire vison(see through walls)

2. Flaming Hell hounds- Dogs from hell. duh. o yea there on fire.

3. IMPERIAL ZOMBIES!!!

4. Trophies

Multiplayer Maps

Banzi (Americans vs. japan). Banzai takes place deep in enemy territory as players vie for control of a tall bridge over a river

Corrosion( Nazis vs. Russia): players journey to Russia to do battle in a dilapidated train yard.

Sub Pens (america vs. Japan)features are close-quarters firefights in a bombed-out submarine base.

The new map pack will be priced at either 800 MS Points on 360 or $9.99 on PSN in US.
